When a product isn’t available yet.
Where a product is temporarily unavailable, VERHAKI may keep it linked to the original order and fulfil it once stock becomes available, depending on supplier availability and the circumstances of the order.
Core backorder policies
DELIVERY OF BACKORDERS
ELIGIBLE BACKORDERS
Where the original order qualified for free delivery, eligible backordered items may generally be delivered later without an additional standard delivery charge.
Products unavailable at the time of a qualifying order may be supplied later as a backorder where appropriate.
LONG-TERM OUT-OF-STOCK PRODUCTS
CUSTOMER-REQUESTED SPLIT DELIVERY
Products subject to prolonged or uncertain supplier shortages may not remain open indefinitely as backorders. Customers may be asked to place a new order once supply resumes.
If a customer requests an urgent separate shipment rather than waiting for normal backorder fulfilment, additional courier or delivery charges may apply.
Availability can change.
Supplier delays, discontinuations, production issues or range changes can affect whether a backorder can ultimately be fulfilled. VERHAKI should communicate material changes where reasonably possible.
Backorder or replacement?
Where appropriate, VERHAKI may help identify an alternative product or range, but substitutions should not be made without customer agreement.
Please contact VERHAKI with your business name and relevant order details for status updates. Specific written account or supplier arrangements may differ from this general policy.
